ITINERARY
DAY 1 Isandlwana & Rorke's Drift
Depart via scenic North Coast route and through the rolling hills of Zululand to the world famous Battle site of Isandlwana. Relive one of the greatest victories in the history of the Zulu - "children of heaven" and the greatest defeat British forces ever suffered in the colonies. After lunch (own account) visit the mission station at Rork's Drift, where one of the bravest defenses in modern warfare took place. Depart for a local country lodge for Dinner and Overnight.(DBB)
DAY 2 Talana Museum & Ladysmith
Visit the splendid Talana museum and battlesite, with many interesting facts and sights regarding the Anglo-Zulu war. Depart for Ladysmith to cover the siege of Ladysmith (lunch own account). Return to Durban in late afternoon
