It's just us... 8 Golden Girls on our annual trip to South Africa. 

At our age to be excellently wined and deliciously dined is the order of the day. 
We are well travelled, thanks to Cathy our travel agent, who ensures that all our travel needs and woes are taken care of. We escape the cold winter and travel once a year to South Africa to enjoy a 12-night “Golden Girls Trip”.  We enjoy a bit of safari, but mostly prefer the "Wine-ing and Dining of the delicious Cape"... you know, drink it all in (pun intended). 

Our trips to South Africa usually involve combining safaris and the Winelands. We go to places that know us and all our little travel habits... from Shelley's sleep machine to Maggie's wine (she has invested in a South African Winery and ships loads back home). We are a bit more snobby when we travel and love the attention from being an "all-gals group". It’s become our tradition to visit Mala Mala Rattray's Camp, which we book out exclusively, before heading to the Cape Winelands and ending in the city where we enjoy a spa pamper and shopping up a storm. The perks of retiring with your favorite gals who are just out and about, enjoying life!
